About Greg

With over 20 years of experience in health, fitness, and performance coaching, I bring a level of depth, discipline, and expertise that goes far beyond the typical personal trainer.

I hold a BSc and MSc in Sport and Exercise Science, and I’m currently completing a PhD exploring the impact of resistance training on mental health — combining cutting-edge research with real-world application. I also hold elite-level credentials, including the NSCA-CSCS and a Level 4 Strength & Conditioning qualification, and I’m a qualified teacher, assessor, and internal verifier.

My background includes service as a Physical Training Instructor (PTI) in the military, where I held various Army powerlifting records and learned the foundations of discipline, physical preparation, and leadership. Today, I work as a lecturer in sports coaching and sport science, while continuing to coach athletes and high performers across football, rugby, netball, swimming, athletics, and beyond.

My coaching philosophy is simple: Discipline beats motivation. Science beats guesswork. Progress isn’t random — it’s programmed. Whether you’re an athlete or a business leader, I deliver structured strength and conditioning that improves performance, builds resilience, and sharpens the mind as much as the body.

In-Person Coaching

12-week strength and conditioning blocks for local athletes and professionals

Train face-to-face in a structured, periodised program built around your goals. Each 12-week block is tailored to performance outcomes - whether that's strength, power, movement, or overall athleticism. Choose between 1 or 2 coached sessions per week. Sessions are delivered in a private S&C facility for athletes, driven individuals, and those ready to train with discipline and intent.

Online Coaching

Remote performance programming with expert feedback - train anywhere.

Online coaching doesn't mean generic plans. You'll receive tailored training blocks, regular updates, and in-depth feedback on your form, progress and performance. All built around your sport, schedule, and facilities. Stay accountable with weekly check-ins and direct communication. Perfect for athletes who want flexibility with structure.

Elite Performance Coaching

A sport science approach for pro athletes and high performing professionals.

This is a premium, high touch coaching experience focused on true performance. It blends advanced strength and conditioning with mindset training, recovery planning, and performance psychology. Ideal for professional athletes, military candidates, and business leaders who operate under pressure and want elite-level support. Expert structure, intensity, and high standards.
